Hamraskóli school orientation
Dear parents and students,
School orientation at Hamraskóli is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 24. The format will look a little different this year. Students in grades 2–7 and their parent(s) are invited to attend an informational meeting with school administrators and homeroom teachers. Students in each grade should arrive with a parent at the following times:
8:30 a.m. — 2nd grade
9:15 a.m. — 3rd grade
10 a.m. — 4th grade
10:45 a.m. — 5th grade
11:30 a.m. — 6th grade
1 p.m. — 7th grade
These meetings will last 30-40 minutes in the cafeteria. Afterward, students will visit their classrooms with their homeroom teachers.
For 1st grade students, homeroom teachers will invite each child and a parent to an individual meeting on either Friday or Monday, reaching out directly to confirm a time.
At 2:30 p.m. on Monday, we will also host an informational meeting for all 1st grade parents covering school operations and general arrangements.
